KGDA TREND DESIGN AWARD ‘23

The Kyoto Global Design Awards is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating outstanding talent in the design industry. The S/S 2023 ‘PINK FLOW’ silicone collection was announced to be a winner at the Kyoto Global Design Awards in Trend Category in October, 2023. The designer is grateful for this wonderful recognition.

COME ON BARBIE …

The collection’s color scheme is white, baby blue, baby pink and fuchsia, but primarily PINK, PINK and even more PINK. The ‘Barbie-theme’ color scheme as for every silicone piece is created by mostly hand-mixed colors. Whether they are single- or multi-color molded hearts, painted flamingos or tricolor pieces, the main motive is to look joyful and effortless.

‘PINK FLOW’ S/S 2023

The S/S 2023 ‘PINK FLOW’ collection is made mostly of silicone rubber, a versatile liquid substance the designer considers her signature material. The pink set of garments is celebrating femininity with heart-shaped patterns and flamingos. The collection was showcased at the 15th Annual Fashion Community Week San Francisco (FCWSF) in 2022.

READY FOR THE SPACE BEACH

Swimwear has been the long time loyal companion of the designer, one way or another. The 100% waterproof silicone pieces are more than fun to wear and the sci-fi ambience of the seamless appearance just makes it perfect for a futuristic and fun experience. Besides the one-piece bodysuits, you can find 2-piece top and skirt outfits, referred to as duos in the store and some glittery spandex loungewear.

WATERPROOF TECHNOLOGY

Silicone rubber is a 100% waterproof material, making the pieces easy to clean and dry, no excess detergents or machine wash is necessary, just wipe them with a wet cloth, use make-up remover for harder stains and they are ready to wear.
