PSEUDO NUDITY
The idea behind creating nude pieces is the contradiction of self-expression and covering oneself, creating a layer in between. The color scheme of the collection composes of skin tones combined with transparent pieces, including 3D molded patterns, which create spectacular illusions on the edge of nudity.
100% WATERPROOF
The pieces are waterproof and require less detergents and time to keep them clean. Not only do the pieces impede water penetrating the garment, but they also dry fast when encountering water on their surface.
SKIN DEEP S/S 2017
‘Skin Deep’ is Viktoria’s second silicone rubber collection in a row, building on the technology founded in S/S2015 ‘CLONES’. The collection was showcased for the first time at an international runway at Vancouver Fashion Week in September, 2016 in the Chinese Cultural Center, Vancouver, BC. The showcase earned the designer her individual runway page on British Vogue on-line.
STEP BY STEP
The advancement in the collection compared to its preceding relative ‘CLONES’ is that besides the soft, skin-like silicone, the application of hard and stiff silicone got introduced. The rigid nature of this silicone allowed the designer to play with the extra hold and shape pieces to be spectacular runway pieces. Check the design evolution in each collection at Technology.
