WATERPROOF S/S 2014

Waterproof is one Viktoria’s early collections, which was yet made with semi-traditional swimwear sewing techniques. However the designer’s attraction towards plastic have already emerged in the transparent accessories creating a futuristic look. The collection’s looks were featured in British Vogue, Glamour UK and Condé Nast Traveler besides most relevant Hungarian fashion magazines. They were also featured in a Hungarian music video, a Polish short film and various other types of editorial photo shootings.

FABRICS

The partially water-resistant holographic and japanned fabrics together with the transparent plastic accessories are symbolizing this ambivalence.

Philosophy

The collection’s philosophy is about the contradictory attitude of humans towards challenges and relationships. While we are all longing to feel water in its entirety we yet want to stay waterproof.

ATHLETIC SILHOUETTES

The collection features athletic bodysuits with a twist of futuristic upgrade thanks to the transparent plastic extensions. The models’ names refer to the openness of personalities as OPHE (OPen HEarted) and COIS (COmpletely ISolated).
