2014

FIRST BRITISH VOGUE APPEARANCE

Viktoria had her first featuring of her S/S2013 NILE collection in the April, 2014 print edition of British Vogue’s Designer Profile. Small in its size, but huge in its importance. Soon after that multiple Conde Nast publications followed, including Glamour UK, Conde Nast Traveller.

THE OPENING OF THE BUDAPEST SHOWROOM

Viktoria opened her apartment showroom in May, 2014. The year was busy with 2 collections, multiple international design markets.

THE FIRST SILICONE RUBBER COLLECTION

Viktoria switched technology from sewing to pouring when she introduced silicone rubber into her collections, starting with the S/S2015 ‘CLONES’, which featured a futuristic utopia of a perfect world.

2015

NOT JUST A LABEL ‘BLACK SHEEP’

The globally recognized international designer website NOT JUST A LABEL selected Viktoria into its ‘Black Sheep category of innovative designers’, an appreciation for emerging designers who revolutionize the fashion industry, based upon her first silicone rubber collection.

2016

FIRST VANCOUVER FASHION WEEK

Even though invited the previous year, the first time the designer showcased her collection at an international Fashion Week was in September, 2016 Vancouver, British Columbia. Her first appearance on an international catwalk earned the designer’s individual page on British Vogue on-line with a runway coverage.

2018

FIRST NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

After multiple international runway shows, Viktoria have been selected to showcase her S/S2019 collection ‘SPLASH’ at Pier59 Studios with Oxford Fashion Studio.

FIRST SAN FRANCISCO FASHION WEEK

The same year Viktoria showcased her S/S2019 collection ‘Splash” at San Francisco Fashion Community Week and shot an editorial at the iconic Golden Gate.

2019

CAAFD ‘EMERGING DESIGNER AWARD’

After her S/S2019 runway show at Pier59 Studios the Council of Aspiring American Designers (CAAFD) chose to award Viktoria with the opportunity to showcase her collections in 4 upcoming seasons at New York Fashion Week, starting February, 2019.

BECOMING VIKTORIA MARCHEV

Viktoria got married in April, 2019, thus became Viktoria Marchev and was seduced to move to New York, she simply could not say no.
